Ben Walton - Assistant Trainer - Obedience
Bennie has been training dogs with Metro Dade K9 since 1992. He joined us soon after Hurricane Andrew and has been a big part of our organization since then. He loves to socialize puppies and thrives on forming their foundation. You will often see Bennie traveling with the pups in his Ford F250 around town. His specialty is working with the Malinois and Dutch Shepherd pups. He starts introducing them to slippery floors, rags, toys, etc. at the young age of 5-6 weeks. These pups are usually excellent candidates for the sport, police work and home protection because of the time Bennie spends working with them. Bennie is an excellent trainer with alot of patience and love for the dogs and has an excellent understanding of what it takes to make a confident young pup become a well-behaved, social and strong working dog as they get older.
Anthony Guzman - Assistant Trainer - Obedience - Decoy

He is able to decoy for many of the police dogs and home protection dogs that are being trained at the facility. He also works at the training facility socializing puppies, cleaning, feeding and helping his father. His dream is to continue in his father's footsteps and create a separate area for exotic animals. In addition to training dogs, Anthony volunteers at Zoological imports where he currently is learning to work with tigers, cougars, alligators, and several other exotic animals.
